What is a Universal Health ID (UHID)?
A UHID is your permanent digital health identity in Uganda. It stores all your medical history, diagnoses, prescriptions, and lab tests securely in a FHIR R4 standard record. Every Ugandan gets one UHID for life.
How does the Family Graph protect my family?
Family Graph links relatives under a unified view while strictly protecting individual privacy. It flags inherited conditions such as sickle cell trait, hypertension, or diabetes. For example, Uganda has a sickle-cell carrier rate of ~1 in 8 people; couples can understand combined genetic risk guided by a clinician.
How do guardian accounts work for children and elderly parents?
Parents manage children records from birth. As youth grow, guardianship hands over gradually at age 13, 16, and fully at 18, ensuring youth privacy while preserving their lifetime record.
Is UHID registration free?
